Diamond Core Drilling

Advanced Investigation Systems uses the Hilti DD200 diamond coring
system, the latest in diamond coring technology, combined with
conventional or vacuum attachment mechanisms.

25mm to 400mm Diameter Cores
• mass concrete, reinforced concrete, brickwork, block work and    bituminous macadam coring
• coring of slabs and hard standing prior to ground investigation
• coring of road surfaces to determine construction thickness
• compressive strength testing of recovered cores

Horizontal Coring
• investigation of retaining wall construction (thicknesses in excess of    2m cored)
• stitch drilling for large / variable shaped holes
• cored holes for ducting / air conditioning / plumbing

Inclined Coring
• investigation of foundations
• drainage & ducting
• precise and accurate, together with an infinitely variable setup angle
